Sketch Orgy #1: Squids

Alright. A week ago I gathered 10 artists together (by 'gathered' I mean violently kidnapped) and I asked them to draw squids (if they would like to keep all of their fingers) Under half of these artists responded with wondrous images and the others are now a few fingers short. Anyway, here are the entries. I'll keep posting the new ones as they are finished.

The Regular Show

I just recently finished this piece after seeing the wonder that is 'Regular Show' a new cartoon created by JG Quintel for Cartoon Network's Cartoonstitute and is set to start airing in 2010. More about it here.

I finally got the chance to see Shane Acker's '9' a couple of days ago. It was one of those movies I could not wait to see and then after seeing it I wished I hadn't spent the money. Although the visuals were incredible the story just seemed really weak. The characters were pretty well built, the story had potential. The film overall just seemed a little soul-less. Which is ironic considering how large a part 'souls' play in the thing. If any of you hadn't seen the short film Acker made that he based the film off of, I'd recommend it.
